Treatment That Starts With Your Pattern

We start by understanding how your anxiety works: the thoughts, situations, and relationships that set it off, and what your body does in response. When the pattern makes sense, it starts to lose its grip.

You will build real tools, and the work does not stay in the room. The bigger goal is changing why your nervous system keeps sounding the alarm, not just calming it down each time it does.

Matching the Approach to the Anxiety

There is no single protocol. Your therapist chooses from the approaches we rely on most in anxiety therapy:

  • EMDR, when anxiety is rooted in past experiences or memories that keep the nervous system on alert
  • IFS, for the inner parts that drive anxious patterns and a more compassionate relationship with them
  • CBT, for the thought patterns that fuel anxiety and avoidance
  • ACT, for psychological flexibility and values-aligned action even while anxiety is present
  • Somatic work, for the body's physical anxiety response and stored tension

Who We See for Anxiety

A lot of the people we work with do not look anxious. They look like they have it together while second-guessing every decision underneath. We treat persistent worry, panic attacks, OCD patterns, perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety, and anxiety that strains relationships.

We see adults, teens dealing with school anxiety and social pressure, and couples where anxiety is shaping how they communicate. Our therapists are Bree Anthony, MA, LMFT and Lyndsay Mclaren, LPCC, whose practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Practical Details

The office is at 2001 S Barrington Ave, Suite 215, between Santa Monica and Culver City. Parking is attached to the building at $3.00 per hour during the day, free after 6:00 PM and on weekends. You can move between office and video sessions with the same therapist and the same treatment plan.

Sessions are a flat $200. We are out of network, check your benefits before your first session, and file superbill claims for you; the details are on our pricing page.
