Life Threads Therapy is a marriage and family therapy practice offering in-person therapy in West Los Angeles and secure virtual therapy across California. This policy describes what information this website collects and how we handle it. It applies to lifethreadstherapy.com only.

Information this website collects

This website does not collect contact-form submissions. Booking links take you directly to our Jane booking portal, where you enter your details. For general questions, you can contact the practice by phone or email. Please do not include detailed health information in email.

How we use it

We use the contact details you provide directly to the practice to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask, to help you schedule a consultation. We never sell your information and we never use it for advertising.

Website analytics

We use a first-party analytics tool (Google Analytics) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site: which pages are read and which buttons are clicked. We have configured it so that no data is shared for advertising purposes: advertising storage and ad personalization signals are switched off across the whole site. We also use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics, which measures site performance without cookies or personal identifiers. This website contains no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics measurement cookies, which help us count visits. No advertising cookies are set. You can decline them with the No thanks button on the cookie notice shown on your first visit, or block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site works fully without them.

Client records and HIPAA

Booking details are entered directly in Jane, rather than submitted through this website. If you become a client, your therapy records are protected under HIPAA and governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake, which is separate from this website policy. Please do not use this website or email for emergencies or for detailed health information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website: Google (analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). Online booking is provided separately through Jane. Each processes data only to provide its service.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold from your website enquiries, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under state law. Contact us at care@lifethreadstherapy.com and we will respond promptly.

If you are in crisis
