From Marina del Rey, the office is a short drive through Venice and Mar Vista, or up the 405 via the 90. Parking is attached to the building at $3.00 per hour during the day, complimentary after 6:00 PM and on weekends.
Anxiety treatment works when it is consistent, and consistency is easier when the drive is short. Many clients near the marina also alternate between office visits and secure video sessions, so a packed week never has to mean a skipped one.
How We Treat Anxiety
Anxiety shows up differently in everyone: the racing mind that will not switch off at night, panic that arrives out of nowhere, the constant scanning for what could go wrong. Our anxiety therapy starts with understanding how yours works before choosing the approach.
Your therapist draws on EMDR when anxiety traces back to experiences the brain never fully processed, and on IFS, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy for thought patterns, self-relationship, and the deeper roots. The approach is matched to you rather than the other way around.
Therapists Who Know the Territory
Our clinicians are Bree Anthony, MA, LMFT, EMDR trained with a neuroscience-informed approach to anxiety and trauma, and Lyndsay Mclaren, LPCC, whose LGBTQIA+ affirming practice spans teens, adults, and families.
Sessions are a flat $200, and we keep the paperwork simple for out-of-network reimbursement; the details are on our private pay page. Video sessions are available to anyone in California.
