Life Threads Therapy is a marriage and family therapy practice offering in-person therapy in West Los Angeles and secure virtual therapy across California. This policy describes what information this website collects and how we handle it. It applies to lifethreadstherapy.com only.

Information this website collects

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you include it, the topic you select, and whether you ask to join our newsletter. Please do not include detailed health information in the form; it is designed for scheduling and general questions.

How we use it

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask, to schedule a free consultation. If you tick the newsletter box we will add you to our list, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell your information and we never use it for advertising.

Website analytics

We use a first-party analytics tool (Google Analytics) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site: which pages are read and which buttons are clicked. We have configured it so that no data is shared for advertising purposes: advertising storage and ad personalization signals are switched off across the whole site. We also use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics, which measures site performance without cookies or personal identifiers. This website contains no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics measurement cookies, which help us count visits. No advertising cookies are set. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site works fully without them.

Client records and HIPAA

Information you send through this website is not part of a clinical record. If you become a client, your therapy records are protected under HIPAA and governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake, which is separate from this website policy. Please do not use this website or email for emergencies or for detailed health information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website: Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and security), and an email delivery service that routes contact-form messages to our practice inbox. Each processes data only to provide its service.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold from your website enquiries, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under state law. Contact us at bree@lifethreadstherapy.com and we will respond promptly.

If you are in crisis
